Hello! I'm Nicole Rockey.

SO happy you are here! I am a personal trainer and nutrition coach by day AND night. My job is my craft and my life's work. Growing up I was always an athlete of some sort. Some of my earliest memories are playing t-ball at the park or doing my first somersault in gymnastics. I always had an attraction to movement, athleticism, dedication and hardwork.

During my junior and senior years of high school I went to a trade school for a Personal Training course. That's where I fell in love with what I do now. Immediately after graduating high school received my Certified Personal Training certification. I decided to pursue my passion for health and fitness at The College at Brockport and received my Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Biology. Throughout my 4 years of Undergrad I worked in the Fitness Center personal training and teaching group exercise. I also competed in my first Bodybuilding Competition during this time. This is where I learned the importance of consistent exercise, a proper diet, balance, and self love. During Undergrad I spent hundreds of hours working with Collegiate and Professional Athletes, including but not limited to Canisius Men's Hockey, the Buffalo Bandits and the Buffalo Beauts. After undergrad, my passion became helping everyday people find what living a healthy life means to THEM. I worked in a well known commercial gym for a few months before opening RockeyFit Personal Training. 4 years later, that turned into what is now RockeyFit Elite Training Facility where we have now helped HUNDREDS of people just like you find health, strength and confidence. I believe that you stop growing when you stop learning. So I continuously educate myself to ensure I am the best possible coach and trainer that I can be.

Throughout my entire 4 years of Undergrad I went undiagnosed with chronic abdominal and back pain, which made daily life and doing what I love a bit more challanging. In November of 2018 I finally got diagnosed with Slipping Rib Syndrome and had surgery for it in March of 2019. I had mentally and physically been challenged to my breaking points from dealing with chronic pain, but I continued to grow and become my best self everyday. My hope is that I can help you to do the same - no matter what obstacles you are facing. This is why my method of training and coaching is unlike many personal trainers. I take an individualized approach to keeping you as healthy as possible for as long as possible while helping you to achieve the physical and mental changes that you desire. This is what lead me to also becoming a Pain Free Performance Specialist which is one on my passions - helping you train pain free. So let's get stronger & healthier together all while having fun!
